Bend Not Break

An ancient proverb teaches that the strongest trees grow in the highest winds. This phenomenon, known as “thigmomorphogenesis,” illustrates how physical stressors such as wind or touch can lead to changes in plant structure, making them sturdier. Similarly, when we face challenging situations, it can either break us or make us stronger. “Bend Not Break” teaches strategies for bending and adapting, building ironclad resilience.

I often speak about the slippery corporate ladder, a climb marked not only by ascents but also by inevitable falls from grace. Often, it’s the falls that offer the most valuable lessons. My goal is to share the strategies developed through these experiences to build resilience and bounce back stronger.
